It’s been two weeks since the Mühldorf-based company ODU/Otto Dunkel celebrated its 75th anniversary. Friends and partners of the company were invited to the festivities and brought presents – some of which were cash donations. This idea came from ODU’s two Managing Directors, Dr. Joachim Belz and Dr.-Ing. Kurt Woelfl. Today, these donated funds were presented in the form of a check to BALU, a charity for children with cancer. “We’re very pleased to be able to provide support in this way to such an important and capable institution as BALU,” both Managing Directors agreed.
Heidi Prinz, coordinator at BALU, came to the ODU Group’s headquarters in Mühldorf to receive the check. She was delighted with the generous donation. “With this money, we can definitively do a lot of good here in Mühldorf, too,” said Prinz.

ODU choir donates its proceeds to first responders
ODU is committed in a variety of areas, both outside and of course inside the company, too. The company’s employees form the basis for the connector manufacturer’s success. To maintain this success, providing training for young specialists is especially important, which is why 110 young women and men are currently undergoing training at ODU. Many ODU employees also enjoy meeting up with colleagues outside working hours to do sports or sing together. Under their conductor Armin Stockerer, ODU members regularly come together for choir practice. Offering concerts is a special highlight for these music lovers and they, too, wanted to share their success and joy: They chose to donate the proceeds from their summer concert to the volunteer first responders of Ranoldsberg. Michael Lanzinger accepted the donation on behalf of the first responders.
